The Corning Painted Post High School Alumni Association has undergone a change.

Your alumni association has made some changes in order to better serve its members.  The CPPHSAA is now incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) not-for-profit organization, and hereafter will be known as:  CPPHSAA Inc.  This is a major milestone for your alumni association.  The new Board of Directors is in place and dedicated to meet and fulfill the by-laws, mission and goals of the association.

As an incorporated, not-for-profit organization, your alumni association is in a position to accomplish new things.  It will now be able to establish scholarships, accept donations, and give back to our community. To ensure confidentiality, a new Privacy Statement has been written to protect alumni information in the database, the bioforms and the website.

All the above accomplishments were possible due to the dedication of Dave Conlin, who had the initial idea for an alumni association.  Dave did much of the work himself with help along the way from various volunteers.  Dave found a tireless volunteer in Marilyn Ameigh Moore who created and maintained the alumni website and assisted Dave with the database.  Mr. Conlin is to be commended for the perseverance and integrity he has exhibited in creating and maintaining the alumni database.  Dave has stepped away to pursue other interests.

All assets and association information have been transferred and entrusted to the new Board, which has many exciting plans for this association’s future.  Stay tuned for further information. You can contact us at info@cpphsaainc.org.
